Sivaji in its Hindi avatar

After the rave reviews that Rajnikanth's film Sivaji The Boss received, it doesn't come as a surprise that the filmmakers now plan to dub the film in various languages like Hindi , Malay, Chinese and Japanese.

The movie, as per most industry estimates, is the most expensive Indian production to date with budget estimates ranging between Rs 70 crore to Rs 96 crore. The film has also opened to packed theatres across the globe.

S C Babu, of the production house confirmed the news saying, "The film is a huge success and we have been getting proposals to dub the film in different languages. But right now, we've finalised to dub the film in Hindi first. The songs are being re-written and re-recorded in Hindi."

Commenting on whether the film will be dubbed by the original actors or dubbing artistes, he said," Anybody who has seen the film knows that the film is about Rajnikanth and what matters is that he will be dubbing the film. It hardly makes a difference if others dub or don't dub for the new versions. It is too early to comment on the other languages as we are still finalising the details
