Keeravani shared his nostalgia saying that he was exposed to Jr.NTR's singing talent during the vijaya yatra of 'Student Number one'.

"NTR and I traveled together in a bus during the vijaya yatra of Student No 1. Then NTR started singing many songs. He sang complete songs from many films which made me confident that he is a good singer. I decided to make him sing in any film. Now the opportunity has come. I made him sing 'Olammee Tikkareginda' in Yama Donga. NTR has good memory. He will not forget when learns something", said Keeravani.

Well, it is not new for Keeravani making actors singing in films. He first made Sreedevi sing for 'Kshanam Kshanam'. He made Kannada hero Vishnu Vardhan sing for a film, 'Karnataka Suputra'. Tamil hero Arjun also sang for the film 'Sevagan' in Keeravani's direction. Srividya sang in Malayalam film 'Neelagiri' in Keeravani's direction. Nagarjuna sang a cigarette song in 'Seetarama Raju' and Brahmanandam sang the lines 'Kasturi Bhangu Bhangu..' in Simhadri under Keeravani's captaincy.

Sai Kumar's Past Is Miserable

Dialogue King Sai Kumar shared his past and that shakes the hearts of many with miserable feelings.

When asked about his entry into film industry he started saying, "My father PJ Sharma was a drama artiste in Vijayanagaram. Many encouraged him to try for films and go to Madras. With many hopes he came to Madras. He loved another actress and married her. She is my mother Krishna Jyothy. Theirs is an inter caste marriage.

But as assumed, my father did not get considerable roles. Even though some gave, there was no guarantee that they would keep the scene in film without editing till the release of the film. Whenever my father used to go to watch preview shows, the people used to say, 'Sharma garu! Velli venakala seetlo koorchuntaara? Seatlu levaa? Ponee tharvatha choodduru lendi". I used to feel very bad and pity for my father. With a lot of insecurity feeling my father switched over to dubbing. He used to get livelihood with that. But once there was a movement that dubbing films were stopped. Then my father got no job at all. My parents sat with hunger to feed us. All those memories still haunt me. I played the role of Duryodhana on stage and got many acclaims. Many told my father that I would become a good actor. Even my father wanted to see me as good actor. But time didn't come in favor very soon. It took time. I continued as dubbing artiste and brought star status for that department. I got the opportunity to lend my voice for senior heroes like Suman, Rajni Kanth and Suman. Slowly I acted in Chiranjeevi gari 'Challenge'. Then there was a gap again. After a very long time with my contacts with Thriller Manju I could become a hero on Kannada screen. Tamil hero Sivaji Ganesan was my role model. I took him as inspiration and acted in 'Police Story'. The film is a history. That made thumping collections. I acted in about 100 films in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada as hero. But when I made 'Eeshwar Alla', that kicked me into losses. I lost my mother last year. She wished to continue my dubbing for Raja Sekhar. He treats Sai Kumar also as his son. That is the reason I gave my voice for Raja Sekhar again in 'Yevadaithey Nakenti'.

Creative Director Slaps His Hero!

It is learned that Creative director joined the league of director Teja in slapping artists.

The creative director of Tollywood lost his cool on the sets of his latest film with buding artists.

He got agitated when his hero did not perform as per his expectations and allegedly slapped him.

A source said, "Our creative director kept explaining a scene to hero who plays a village boy in the film. He wanted him to perform in a particular manner, but the actor was not getting it right. So director screamed at him and the two got in to an argument which resulted in director slapping him."

When contacted one of the unit members said, "It was just an argument but now it has been solved". Insider says the director is a task master and never loses his temper. But what happened on the sets is a surprise to all.

Ok, we agree direction is a highly stressful job but slapping doesn't make it easy!

Actress alleges she was raped by businessman

Actress Padma Narayanan, who is currently at the Puzhal prison for allegedly blackmailing the businessman Pradeep Konra, claimed in a written complaint on Monday, that the businessman Pradeep Konra had allegedly filed false charges against her and framed her as she threatened to go public about their relationship if he refused to marry her.

"Pradeep asked me to come for his birthday party which he was holding at The Park hotel on July 24 at 5 pm. When I went there, he was not alone but with another friend Nirmal Kumar and they were both in an inebriated condition," she said.

Padma claimed that she was given a cool drink mixed with a drug. After drinking it, she passed out and was repeatedly raped by the two men. "Since, I was unconscious at that time, I realised what happened only the following morning," she said.

The next morning when Padma confronted him about their four-year-long relationship and demanded that he marry her, Pradeep had allegedly threatened her against going public about their relationship. She alleged that he also threatened to file a complaint with the police about the adult video films they had shot together. According to sources, Padma is soon expected to be out on bail. Further investigations are on.

Chiranjeevi Said 'No Settlement' In Pawan's Case

This is the grapevine from legal sources. It is said that Chiranjeevi is the one who brought the issue of Pawn Kalyan to court leaving the idea of settlement aspect aside. He asked the lawyer not to go for settlement but approach court.

It seems that Chiranjeevi said, "It's not something very serious. It's neither IPC 302 case as well. Let that lady (Nandini) go to court. Let everything be solved by court".

Little while ago, it was said that Nandini's family and Pawan Kalyan have shown interest to do settlement at sum of Rs 8 Cr outside the court. But now the case has to face the court to settle down as per the dictum of the justice.

Sanjay Dutt meets Abu Salem in jail

Sanjay Dutt reportedly met with Abu Salem at breakfast in Arthur road jail on Thursday morning.

The high security Arthur Road Jail became the meeting ground for two men separated by 14 years of history.

Sources say the two men chatted and exchanged notes perhaps on the years gone past.

This isn't the first meeting between the two men post the serial blasts.

Soon after Salem was brought to India, the two came face to face inside the TADA court, but then they didn't even exchange a glance.

Then the speculation was the Salem's return could make Dutt's case difficult in court.

Actress arrested for blackmailing businessman

A model-turned-actress, who attempted to blackmail a businessman after taking videos of them in a compromising position at a star hotel in Meenambakkam was arrested. According to the police, the actress, identified as Padma Narayanan, demanded Rs. 10 crore after spending a night with the businessman for an agreed sum of Rs 25,000, failing which she threatened to make the videos of the two of them public. Padma, aged 29, a resident of Velachery, acted in Tamil movie Veeraswamy. According to eye witnesses, she was arrested at a jewellery shop in Cathedral road on Wednesday afternoon and bundled into a police vehicle. She had arrived at the jewellery store to meet her victim, a businessman named Pradeep K. from Anna Nagar.

The actress was waiting for the businessman at the jewellery shop because he told her she could buy whatever she wanted from the store. “We told the businessman to set a trap for her. She was told that it would be difficult for Pradeep to give her Rs. 10 crore in cash, so she was asked to make some purchases from the jewellery shop,” the police said. A police team headed by an assistant commissioner from St Thomas Mount waited at the shop with policewomen in mufti. As soon as the actress arrived in her Honda City car and entered the shop, the police team picked her up.

According to sources, the police team questioned her in the vehicle and by evening she confessed to the crime and even provided the police with details of her three associates who also threatened the businessman. They were identified as Sanjay, a 29 year-old model, Ameer John, 28, and Chandran, 28, both car brokers. The police also seized a Honda City car, a lap top, 7 mobile phones and a gun from the arrested. On Thursday morning, the police didn’t want to wait for the courts to open, and rushed the case by producing her at the residence of a magistrate — something that is usually done only in VIP and emergency cases. The magistrate remanded her to judicial custody for 15 days.

Padma’s Modus Operandi

The businessman and actress travelled by the same car and checked into a room at the hotel on July 27. After entering the hotel room, she told him she had left her walkman in the car and asked him to fetch it. When he went out, she arranged four cellphones at four corners of the bed and started the recording option. When he returned, the four cell phone cameras capture0all the bedroom activity from four angles. Later, she kept the mobile phones back in her handbag without him noticing. The two agreed to meet next day also in the same hotel.

But the next day, she came with three of her associates and showed him the video recordings of previous night. The recording was played on a lap top and the four demanded Rs. 10 crore from him or they threatened to ruin his reputation in public. The businessman offered to pay Rs. 10 lakh, but the gang insisted that he should pay Rs. 10 crore or they would shoot him. This is when he approached the police and set a trap for the actress. Sources said that the businessman has been involved with the actress for the last six months.

Actress Kareena Kapoor has never travelled by train. And so, it was quite hilarious when she was shooting a ‘train scene’ for Imtiaz Ali’s yet-to-be-titled film with beau Shahid Kapoor. After 'Kantri', Hansika has reportedly signed two more projects, one opposite young actor Ram and another opposite Tarun, directed by Ramesh Varma.

Charmy Is Unware That Bapu Is Painter!

Though the living legend, Director Bapu, is a multifaceted person, there are people in Telugu film industry, who know less about him. Among them, heroine Charmy is one. She is now receiving accolades as 'Bapu Bomma' from all quarters, as she is booked for Bapu's film.

She was awestruck recently when she found Bapu drawing a sketch for a magazine on sets. She lately came to know Bapu is an artist too. She regretted for her ignorance and requested Bapu to draw her sketch.

She said she would etch each line with gold preserve it forever. Bapu, a true professional, promised to draw her picture only after the completion of the film.

Fight For 'Shankarabharanam'!

Three consecutive days have seen a fight among the three groups for the super hit classic film 'Shankarabharanam'.

First day, Moser Baer gave an Ad in News Paper stating that it is releasing the DVD of that film at the cheapest price. Following the same, on the next day, the producer's camp of the film gave another Ad stating that all the rights of the film are vested with them and doing business with the same without their consent will have to face legalities.

On the subsequent day, that is today, another WARNING is published in the same News Paper as follows:

"We have bagged all the rights of the films 'Tayaramma Bangarayya', 'Shankarabharaam', 'Sitara', 'Sagara Sangamam', 'Seetha Koka Chiluka', 'Salangai Oli' (Tamil) and 'Sagara Sangamam' (Malayalam) from the respective producers signing on a lease agreement for 99 years. We are making business moves with other companies as we have lease agreement with us. If anyone makes a direct contact with the producers of those films and makes prints of the same, legal action will be taken accordingly- Lease Rights Holder, 1, Ramachandraiar Street, T Nagar, Chennai-17".

So, it's a fight for Shankarabharanam on a whole. Who is right has to be decided.

Kavita Kundra’s outburst against her ex-husband Raj Kundra and actress Shilpa Shetty has created a dilemma for the couple who now cannot come out into the open about their ‘relationship’.

Friends of Raj Kundra, told media that Raj and Shilpa were ‘close’ but denied that the relationship had begun while Raj and Kavita were still together. “Kavita left Raj long before he met Shilpa, so how can she blame Shilpa for the break-up of her marriage,” said a close friend of the film producer and UK businessman, Raj Kundra.

“Their daughter was only about two- month old when Kavita insisted that she could not live with Raj anymore and left him,” said the friend. He insisted that Raj met Shilpa much after she won Celebrity Big Brother in January, by which time Raj and Kavita had already separated and were well on the way to a divorce.

“Kavita simply saw pictures of them together and got jealous and wanted to put a spanner in the works, and she has been successful,” said the friend.

Shilpa is also hoping to buy an apartment in the exclusive Mayfair area as a second home. With her relationship with Raj thriving, Shilpa is interested in spending more time in the UK. However, now thanks to Kavita’s outburst, Shilpa and Raj are on the radar of the British tabloids who follow them hoping to snap the two of them together.

"She is rude and throws tantrums. The production team is having a tough time rescheduling timings and reworking," revealed a source. The actress mother said in her daughter defense: "we had informed the team beforehand that she will not be able to devote much time to them."

Another source confirmed what she said was true. But that still doesn't explain Genelia's rude behavior, does it?

5.Poor Production Values : Couple of Scenes were cut and paste from Hindi (atleast it appeared to be).. and this coming from a Big production house like Gemini is quite surprising.
